El mejor destino en Africa por mes y por qué – Diciembre en Sudáfrica

Bueno, es verano, es la temporada de vacaciones y Sudáfrica tiene todo lo que necesitas, aventura, diversión familiar y la tradición, puedes celebrar en una hermosa ciudad, hacer un fantástico safari y disfrutar de playas increíbles, todo esto en un solo país.
Diciembre es la temporada alta para Sudáfrica, especialmente Ciudad del Cabo, y es cuando damos la bienvenida a la mayoría de los turistas, así como a personas de otras partes del país, haciendo de Ciudad del Cabo una ciudad llena de energía, vibras y, por supuesto, eventos, las playas están llenas, el clima es perfecto y, como siempre, hay muchas cosas que hacer.
Cuando se trata de un safari, es el comienzo de la temporada de lluvias, por lo que la vegetación no es tan seca como en invierno, lo que la hace un poco más hermosa (si es posible). Pero también es temporada de bebés, la mayoría de los animales habrían dado a luz en Septiembre u octubre, por lo que es un buen momento para ver a todos los recién nacidos.
Cuando digo temporada de lluvias, por favor no te alarmes, son lluvias esporádicas y no tan a menudo como lo sería en enero o febrero. Llueve de a pocos y no necesariamente en todas partes.
¡Ah! Otra ventaja, el río comienza a llenarse, y si te gustan las tormentas eléctricas, definitivamente las tendrás en Johannesburgo.
Qué hacer y a dónde ir.
En Ciudad del Cabo, recomendaría el hotel Pod o el hotel The Marly, no solo porque son hoteles fantásticos, sino también porque están a poca distancia a pie de la playa. Si prefieres algo más cercano a la ciudad, para mí, el Hotel Winchester es el mejor, a medio camino entre el centro de la ciudad y las playas, justo en el paseo marítimo está perfectamente ubicado. Normalmente no recomiendo hoteles en el centro de la ciudad solo porque personalmente prefiero las vistas al mar y la proximidad al mar. Sin embargo, si insistes, La Botessa sería uno que recomendaría, también Gorgeous George y Camissa House, sin olvidar el Silo Hotel y el Cadogan Boutique Hotel.
Un día en Winelands es imprescindible, así como el recorrido por Cape Point, pero también tomarse un par de días para relajarse y disfrutar de las playas, Camps Bay, Clifton, Llandudno, etc. También hay muchas actividades que hacer durante todo el año, pero algunas de ellas son mucho más divertidas en verano, como el buceo a través de un bosque de Kelp (algas) o el snorkel con focas, un safari por el océano para buscar ballenas y delfines, parapente, kayak, sandboarding, paracaidismo y mucho más. Hay algo para todos.
Algo que a mucha gente le encanta hacer es la Ruta del Jardín, es una gran manera de disfrutar de un viaje por carretera visitando algunas playas increíbles y luego terminar con un Safari cerca de Port Elizabeth, si no eres del tipo al que le gustan los viajes por carretera, siempre puedes volar al área del Parque Nacional Kruger y hacer un safari en una de las reservas privadas más fabulosas del país,
